To identify combination skin, look for shine or breakouts in the T-zone and dryness or flakiness in other areas. The best approach is to tailor treatments: use a gentle cleanser, lightweight hydrating products for drier areas, and oil-control formulas like salicylic acid for the T-zone. Avoid harsh products that can exacerbate both dryness and oiliness.
